Job Purpose
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding care and supporting residents to maintain dignity, independence, and wellbeing. You will lead by example, supervise care staff on shift, and ensure care plans are followed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality personal care in line with individual care plans
* Administer medication safely and accurately in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements
* Support and supervise Care Assistants during shifts
* Assist residents with daily living activities (washing, dressing, mobility, nutrition)
* Maintain accurate care records and documentation
* Report any changes in residents' health or wellbeing to management
* Promote dignity, respect, and person-centred care at all times
* Support new staff and participate in staff training and development
Requirements
* Previous experience in a care setting
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
* Good communication and leadership skills
* Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
* Ability to work as part of a team

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
