CSA Quantity Surveyor
Location: Slough, London
Salary: Up to £65k
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CSA Quantity Surveyor to join a leading international contractor delivering a major mission-critical project in the Slough / Reading area. The business is a well-established engineering and construction specialist with a strong presence across Europe, delivering complex projects within the data centre, life sciences, and critical infrastructure sectors. Known for its technical expertise, high safety standards, and collaborative approach, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering large-scale, high-value projects for global clients.
The Role
As a CSA Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for supporting the commercial management of the project, ensuring effective cost control, contract administration, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide commercial and contractual support to the Commercial Manager
* Prepare internal valuations and cost reports
* Assist in the management of subcontract packages and oversee payments to subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
* Prepare and manage remeasures and variations, including submission and agreement with clients
* Monitor and report on project budgets and commercial performance
* Distribute and track invoices for approval across project teams
* Liaise with Procurement, Finance, and Suppliers to resolve queries, including monthly accruals
Requirements
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
* Minimum 2+ years’ experience within the construction sector
* Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to present data clearly
* High level of IT proficiency, including experience with estimating or commercial software
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain high standards of accuracy
* Detail-oriented approach, particularly in take-offs and pricing
