We are looking to appoint an energetic and inspirational Teacher of Drama and Performing Arts to become an integral member of our Music, Drama and Performing Arts Department. You will be joining a highly motivated and talented team who work closely together in their shared commitment to provide high-quality teaching and learning in the classroom and also as part of our full extra-curricular programme.
We have worked hard to build an excellent department, and we are looking for a keen, hardworking professional who wants to work closely with the Head of Department to push our boundaries and take our thriving Drama and Performing Arts provision even further.
The successful candidate will need to:
Be a truly dynamic and enthusiastic practitioner who is deeply passionate about Drama and its impact on a young person's development.
Confidently deliver excellent teaching across Performing Arts at Years 7 and 8, L1/2 Vocational Award/VGCSE Performing Arts, and GCSE and A Level Drama.
Empower and inspire all pupils, including building on our excellent progress in directing and delivering high-quality school productions and extracurricular activities.
This role would be suitable for a newly qualified Drama teacher, but we also warmly welcome applications from more experienced teachers looking to bring their expertise to a new environment.
