Job Description
· Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.· Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.· Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.· Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow activities.· Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time.· Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards.· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.· Provide assistance in budgeting and forecasting processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Accountant (Senior) should have:· A strong academic background in Accounting or Finance.· Month-end reporting exposure; ability to prepare trial balance.· Previous experience working across AP & AR.· Prior experience in a smaller business is highly desirable.· Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.· Knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance requirements.· The ability to work collaboratively within a collaborative team, partnering with designers & project managers.· A proactive approach to solving financial challenges.
