A market leading organisatin in the healthtech space requires a Software Development Lead/Manager to join its growing and successful team!
Suitable candidates will have the following experience:
* Strong commercial experience in software development using C# .NET, coupled with circa 2 years experience in a leadership/management role.
* Experience leading technical decisions.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
* Comfortable with git version control.
* Process driven.
* Flexible approach and positive attitude.
* Experience with at least two of the following requirements:
o ORM (NHibernate, Entity Framework, etc.)
o SQL Server or other relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
o DevExpress components (Desirable)
* Familiar with developer tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence.
Duties will include the following:
* Leading two software development teams and helping to drive projects forward.
* Managing and mentoring software developers.
* Setting and maintaining architectural standards.
* Writing and reviewing code.
* Creating a long-term strategy for modernising the code base.
* Collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
* Building strong relationships with customers (will include customer site visits, conference visits and supporting product user groups).
