Work-Based Tutor – Customer Service & Business Administration (L2–3) Location: Remote (with occasional travel to learner/employer sites if required) Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent OR Freelance (flexible delivery model) Salary: Up to £30,000 (FTE) or £60 per learner, per session (freelance) About the Role LT Selection is proud to be recruiting exclusively on behalf of a respected apprenticeship and skills provider delivering across the UK. We’re seeking an experienced and adaptable Customer Service & Business Administration Tutor to deliver high-quality, work-based learning for apprentices and adult learners working towards Level 2 and 3 qualifications. You will deliver a combination of online workshops, one-to-one coaching, and portfolio support, supporting learners to achieve success in their roles and progress to Gateway and End Point Assessment. This role is available on both a freelance and full-time employed basis, with remote-first delivery and flexible scheduling. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and relevant workshops across Customer Service Practitioner, Customer Service Specialist, and Business Administrator standards Provide high-quality one-to-one support, coaching, and progress reviews Guide learners to develop job-specific knowledge, skills, and behaviours Prepare learners for Gateway and End Point Assessment (EPA) Track and record learner progress in line with funding requirements and quality standards Support the design and improvement of delivery content where appropriate Liaise with employers and internal teams to ensure a consistent learner journey Maintain full compliance with quality, safeguarding, and assessment frameworks Essential Requirements Recognised teaching or assessing qualification (e.g. CAVA, AET, DTTLS, PGCE) Experience delivering apprenticeships or qualifications in Customer Service or Business Admin Excellent digital delivery skills using platforms such as Teams, Zoom, or a VLE Ability to adapt delivery to individual learning styles and needs Strong organisational and communication skills Knowledge of Ofsted, apprenticeship standards, and EPA requirements Desirable Experience with online portfolio systems (e.g. OneFile, Smart Assessor) Knowledge of funding and compliance in the apprenticeship sector Previous experience supporting remote learners in a caseload model Why Join?
