Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Passive Fire Protection Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs and materials required for passive fire protection projects. This includes reviewing project specifications, conducting site visits, and liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers. The Estimator will also be responsible for preparing detailed proposals, ensuring compliance with UK fire safety regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
The role involves preparing and submitting accurate cost estimates for passive fire protection projects, reviewing project plans and specifications to identify requirements, and conducting site surveys to assess project scope and site conditions. You will be required to liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and materials, ensure compliance with relevant fire safety regulations and standards, and monitor project costs, adjusting estimates as necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of passive fire protection systems and regulations, excellent attention to detail and accuracy in estimating, and good communication and negotiation skills. The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines is also essential.
