Are you looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor role? Interested in working for a leading Construction Company? VANRATH is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work within the Building Maintenance department for a large, leading Construction Company in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Overview:
Lead all commercial, financial, and contractual aspects of multiple projects. Focus on maximizing profitability, ensuring legal and contractual compliance, and managing commercial issues. Oversee applications, valuations, payments, and align activities with company policies. Play a pivotal role in guiding commercial strategy and project delivery.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Project Financial Management: Manage budgets, forecasts, financial reports, cost control, and profitability.
2. Contract Administration: Handle contract preparation, negotiation, variations, and legal risk minimization.
3. Procurement and Tendering: Oversee tender processes, bid evaluation, and subcontractor selection.
4. Cost Valuation and Reporting: Conduct valuations, manage payments, prepare accounts, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
5. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial and contractual risks.
The Ideal Person:
* Degree qualified or relevant qualifications
* Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor
* Proven track record in senior roles
* Strong understanding of construction methods and regulations
* Advanced contract law and health & safety knowledge
* Excellent commercial, IT, communication, negotiation, and time management skills
* Social Housing or maintenance experience preferred
