We are seeking dedicated primary Teacher to inspire pupils in a lovely primary school in Sunderland in a year 4 class
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Assessment: Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
Classroom Management: Create a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment where all children feel valued and encouraged to succeed.
Safeguarding: Uphold the school's robust safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all pupils.
Collaboration: Work effectively within a team, share best practices, and communicate effectively with parents and carers.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A relevant teaching degree or PGCE.
Proven experience of teaching within a primary school setting is highly desirable, but applications from strong ECTs are welcome.
A strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum and effective teaching pedagogies.
Excellent behaviour management skills and a creative approach to teaching.
Commitment to continuous professional development and contributing to school life.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
