The post of Team Rector of Gayton, Grimston, Massingham, and District offers an exciting opportunity to minister among small rural communities in north-west Norfolk, just 5 miles from King’s Lynn and the Norfolk coast.
Our churches are seeking a priest who will:
1. Discern, encourage, and equip vocations
2. Build relationships with our five village schools
3. Deepen faith and discipleship within the benefice
4. Develop a pastoral care strategy
5. Lead worship with flexibility, connecting with the agricultural calendar
6. Promote collaboration across the benefice while respecting individual church identities
Key characteristics of the ideal candidate include:
1. Being an ordained priest in the Church of England or a communion in fellowship with it, with a desire to see lives transformed by Christ
2. Rooted and confident in their love of God and others
3. Having a love for rural communities
4. A team player with a collaborative approach to ministry
5. Visible, approachable, and possessing good people skills
6. Enthusiastic and well-organized
7. Understanding the importance of visibility in the community
