Minimum 1+ years teaching experience required.
This role involves instructing Science to middle and high school students within a K-12 educational setting in Park City, MT. The position is a contract-to-hire opportunity for the uping school year, with a schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
* Teach Earth and Physical Science as well as Biology to students in grades 6-12.
* Integrate technology effectively to enhance classroom learning experiences.
* Manage a caseload of 8-12 students, with some smaller class sizes due to a diverse course offering including Vocational Agriculture, Woodworking, PE, Art, Music, Business Education, Technology, Science, Social Studies, Mathematics, Special Education, and English.
Qualifications:
* Experience and skills in teaching General Education Science.
* Ability to work within a specialized educational setting educating approximately 160-170 students in Day Treatment and Residential programs.
* Willingness to obtain certification in Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP), which emphasizes de-escalation techniques and safe restraint protocols to ensure safety in the educational environment.
