Cash Allocations Clerk - 9 Month Contract

Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Cannock, Staffordshire - Hybrid working

We are looking for someone who shares this view to join our Credit Control team based in Cannock as a Cash Allocation Clerk. What will you be doing?
* Posting daily BACS and Credit Card payments on accounting systems (Workday and Sage)
* Resolving queries
* Assisting external customer queries regarding unallocated cash while maintaining data protection
* Allocating transfers
* Ensuring cheques are processed promptly and accurately
* Processing indemnities and netting
* Requesting and processing refunds
* Keeping accounting spreadsheets up to date
* Calling Monthly DD run and posting once received
What are we looking for?
* Experience in a similar role
* Understanding of meeting company SLAs and targets
* Excellent numerical ability
* Polite and assertive verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work on own initiative and communicate with internal and external customers
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Experience with Microsoft Office and Google applications
