Duties include (but are not limited to):
* Creation and amendment of CNC Programs and tool data.
* Contributing to feasibility reviews.
* Analyzing existing processes and evaluating potential improvements.
* Liaise with external tooling companies to identify cost savings and tooling improvements.
* Lead Engineering projects from concept through to completion.
* Assist and advise shop floor personnel on setting activities.
* Any other reasonable duties as assigned in order to meet the needs of the business.
Essential Skills & Requirements
* Good knowledge of CNC turning and milling processes. – (Essential)
* Experience in CNC Programming (Fanuc controls, turning and milling) (Essential)
* Experience in VMC (Essential)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to make considered decisions and to communicate them effectively
* PC literate – Microsoft word, excel etc.
* Willingness to take on new tasks as and when required
