Role Overview
Senior Support Officer to join the Temporary Staffing Team within the Corporate Division, providing robust support for projects and training within the team and across the wider Trust.
Responsibilities
* Act as a project lead and training Senior Support Officer within the Temporary Staffing Department.
* Serve as the main point of contact for any planned or current projects within Temporary Staffing.
* Lead projects such as Bank Training Compliance Improvement and the rollout of the Loop system to allow bank workers to book shifts via an app.
* Liaise with the Operations Manager, Systems & Compliance Manager and Head of Temporary Staffing regarding project rollouts and training/compliance updates.
* Lead internal training across the Temporary Staffing Department, being a point of contact for related queries, questions or support.
* Develop communication strategies and act as a bank facilitator for bank workers, ensuring they are contacted regularly to guarantee full training and compliance with mandatory training.
* Escalate and communicate issues and concerns relating to training and compliance, partnering with the Systems and Compliance Manager and wider management team and service leads to analyze issues and support development of management solutions.
* Provide efficient business‑focused administration and support to the Compliance function of the Temporary Staffing Service on a day‑to‑day basis, contributing to the efficient and effective running of all compliance‑related functions within the Department.
* Establish and maintain compliance for all bank workers in relation to training, right‑to‑work checks, criminal records checks, professional registrations and any other statutory or mandatory compliance.
Qualifications
* Strong administrative experience and IT skills.
* In‑depth knowledge and experience of Temporary Staffing system (Health Roster, Bank Staff, LOOP, ESR).
* Ability to work autonomously and manage conflicting priorities.
* NHS experience is essential.
* ‘Can do’ attitude and high standard of professionalism.
