Job Title: Chief Financial Officer
Reporting To: Managing Director.
Location: Dromore Co. Tyrone.
Hours: 40 hrs per week, Monday – Friday.
Euro Auctions conducts unreserved auctions of industrial plant, construction equipment, and agricultural machinery on a global basis with sites in the UK, Europe, UAE, Australia, and the US. We are the market leader in Europe, holding more sales and selling more lots per sale than any other auction house.
Working closely as part of the senior management team, the Chief Financial Officer will successfully implement financial control and be responsible for coordinating all financial operations of the organization. The successful candidate will have exceptional commercial acumen with a proven track record in business development.
This is not a typical CFO position; this is a demanding and challenging role covering all aspects of our global commercial and financial management functions.
Key Activities:
1. Manage the entire finance function to achieve optimum efficiency.
2. Prepare Consolidated Group Accounts as well as Monthly and Quarterly Accounts.
3. Coordinate regular reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes.
4. Provide insightful and commercially focused analysis on both financial and management information.
5. Liaise and negotiate effectively with key external bodies including auditors and financial institutions.
6. Proactively review and recommend improvements throughout all aspects of the business to ensure future growth and profitability.
The Person:
This role will require the ability to work autonomously with a strong knowledge of all proposed current financial developments and their potential impact.

The Requirements Essential Criteria:
1. A Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
2. Experience working across multiple jurisdictions.
3. Knowledge of Financial Regulations in multiple jurisdictions.
4. Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
5. Proven track record in Business Improvement.
6. Strong leader with experience in leading, managing and team development.
7. Working knowledge of the Sage programmes.
8. Highly developed business and commercial acumen.
9. Disposition aligned with the Company’s Culture.
