Finance Assistant/Purchase Ledger An established and growing business in Harrogate is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their friendly and supportive finance team.
Youll be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring that transactions are processed efficiently
Key Responsibilities Process purchase invoices accurately and promptly
Create and process payment runs
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
Calculate and organise refunds
Maintain transactional ledgers, resolving outstanding issues
Complete bank reconciliations
Run aged debtors and aged creditors reports
Support the finance managers and management accountants in resolving queries
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Skills & Experience Purchase ledger experience is essential
Excellent attention to detail and high data accuracy
Strong communication skills, able to liaise effectively with finance and non-finance colleagues
Good Excel skills and overall IT literacy
