Lusona is working with our client to source suitable applicants for the post of Finance Assistant based on site at their Head Office based in South Lanarkshire on a fixed term contract basis for 6 months possibly longer.The Finance Assistant role is an exceptional opportunity for a self-motivated individual looking for a role where they can develop the role and play a key part in growing a leading business.This role will be office based but does offer flexible working and our client would look at candidates looking for full time hours or reduced hours approx. 28 hours.Duties Will include:Managing Credit Control Ledger and any queries re paymentsChasing overdue invoices and payments via telephone and emailEnsuring payments are on track to be paid within the agreed terms, working towards targets for cash collection to reduce outstanding debt exposureCarrying out thorough credit checks for new customers to ensure eligibility for both credit and credit insurance coverBuilding and maintain strong relationships with debtorsProcess Accounts Payable invoicesProcess invoices and follow up with clients and suppliers queriesSuppliers and customers account monthly reconciliationMaintaining positive relationships with customers, while effectively mitigating credit risks and ensuring timely collectionsSupport for month end activities and general analysisParticipate in quarterly and annual auditsUpdate financial spreadsheets with daily transactionsFiling and adhoc accounts administrationAs a Finance Assistant you will become an essential part of the small team, supporting the financial operations and ensuring the smooth handling of accounts-related tasks.
