Lochlie Construction Group are seeking a motivated and ambitious Trainee Quantity Surveyor (Graduate Apprentice) to join our growing commercial team based at our Hillington office in Glasgow.\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity for someone currently studying, or looking to progress within, Quantity Surveying while gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of live construction projects throughout Scotland.\n\nAt Lochlie, no two projects are the same. Our work spans commercial refurbishments, social housing, renewables, community projects, heritage works and bespoke high-spec developments. This provides an excellent platform for learning and development, giving you exposure to multiple sectors and different styles of project delivery.\n\nYou will work closely with our experienced commercial and operational teams, supporting the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to final account. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will receive ongoing mentorship, guidance and support from experienced Quantity Surveyors and senior management.\n\nWe are passionate about investing in people and creating long-term careers within the business. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and genuine interest in construction and the built environment.\n\nThe ideal candidate will:\n\nBe working towards, or interested in studying, a BA (Hons) degree in Construction and the Built Environment (Quantity Surveying)\nIdeally have completed, or be undertaking, relevant construction-related qualifications such as HNC/HND or college studies\nHave a keen interest in construction, commercial management and problem solving\nBe organised and willing to learn\nHave strong communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team\nBe motivated to build a long-term career within the construction industry\nBe comfortable working both in the office and on live construction sites\nHave good numeracy and attention to detail\nHold a full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)\n\nMost importantly, we are looking for someone who shares Lochlieâs values of quality, respect and teamwork.\n\nJoining Lochlie means becoming part of a growing business where your contribution matters.
