About The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA) www.youngentrepreneurs.academy


The Young Entrepreneurs Academy is a not-for-profit initiative developed in partnership with UCL’s School of Management, UCL's Institute of Education, and some award-winning entrepreneurs. Our goal is to equip young people with real-life business skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Our core programme is a 20-part interactive digital learning series 'Basics of Business: Beginner to Boss’ as is being used in schools, by charities and directly by young people. Students not only conquer the 'Basics of Business' but also develop their own business plans and financial literacy and get a UCL-accredited certificate upon completion, plus a shot at winning investment after pitching to the YEA Dragons. We’re in an exciting stage of development and have a number of new programmes in the pipeline which you would play a key role in supporting.

We're keen to get as many young individuals as possible - particularly those from backgrounds that traditionally lack access to entrepreneurial resources and opportunities - interested in entrepreneurship, championing diversity and levelling up society along the way.


About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organised, energetic, and proactive individual to assist the team at both Bluebox and YEA. This role will offer a lot of variety as you will get to experience two completely different businesses, one an established corporate finance firm and the other, an edtech startup where you will assist with bringing a new brand to life across all touchpoints (social, website, PR, email, presentations, events and partnerships etc). The role will focus on marketing, business development, partnerships and administrative support across both organisations.

Responsibilities at Bluebox Corporate Finance Limited:

As a key member of the team, you will take ownership of a wide range of marketing and business support activities, ensuring they are delivered to a high standard and on time. Your responsibilities will include:


● Assisting with the development and execute marketing strategies to strengthen the Bluebox brand and extend its reach.

● Leading the delivery of multi-channel campaigns across digital, print, and events.

● Creating, managing, and monitoring content for the company website and LinkedIn.

● Taking responsibility for email marketing (newsletters), PR activity, and campaign performance tracking.

● Designing and producing marketing materials (brochures, flyers, event invites, digital assets) using Canva.

● Planning, promoting, and supporting events, including lead generation, audience engagement, and on-site management.

● Owning the CRM system by ensuring updates, accuracy, and effective usage across the team.

● Providing proactive support to the COO with diary management, administration, and expense reporting.

● Handling office administration, including answering phones and managing ad-hoc requests with professionalism.



● Responsibilities at The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA):

● Assist with the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote the brand and increase reach (Paid & Organic).

● Manage the YEA social media accounts (LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram & YouTube)

● Management of the YEA Learning Management System (LMS).

● Help develop partnerships with schools and relevant organisations – take charge of the school account management and ensuring seamless onboarding of schools onto the LMS.

● Support in the development and delivery of email marketing campaigns (newsletter, welcome series, promotional emails & automated flows).

● Research relevant PR publications and assist in developing relationships with press contacts and securing PR opportunities.

● Creation of content, including promotional marketing materials, blogs, content for podcasts, digital series and for our website.

● Assist with the planning and execution of events.

● Provide some administrative support such as booking meetings for the CEO.


Skills

● Degree in relevant field & at least 1 years of relevant experience

● Excellent organisation and project management skills with the ability to multi-task to a high standard to meet strict deadlines

● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

● Creative with an eagle eye for detail – spelling and grammar are key

● Must be proficient in Canva and creating content for social media

● Works well in a team and on their own, with an ability to manage and prioritise their own workload

● CRM experience and use of emailing platforms desired

● Website editing desired

● Keen interest in staying on top of marketing trends and the latest martech

● Open to commercial mentality, always looking externally at how we can use content/experiences to drive growth either with our existing network or new contacts

● Excellent knowledge and application of the full Microsoft office suite.

● Proactive as well as responsive
