Job Title: Depot Maintenance Technician (Electrician) Location: Site-Based Reports to: Lead Engineer / Engineering Manager Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 06:00 and 18:00 (rotating shifts) On-Call Rota: 1 in 4 weeks – £180 on-call allowance per week + 1.5x hourly rate for callouts and overtime. Use of company van during on-call weeks. Job Purpose: To maintain and repair electrical and mechanical plant and equipment at distribution centres, ensuring effective service delivery in line with health and safety standards and KPI targets. Key Responsibilities: Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive service calls. Carry out electrical testing, inspection, minor installations, and general site maintenance. Communicate issues effectively with colleagues and site management. Maintain accurate documentation including reports and time sheets. Order parts, manage tools, and liaise with project teams when required. Comply with health & safety standards and company policies.
