The Role
We are excited to announce an opportunity to join the Directorate for Students Team as a Student Adviser (Careers) on a part time basis. This role is essential in supporting students with careers and employability advice, helping them make informed decisions about their future. You will be part of a dynamic team within the Student Life Centres, delivering high-quality guidance and support to both students and staff.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
2. Providing one-to-one and group careers guidance to students through face-to-face, telephone, and online interactions.
3. Delivering interactive careers sessions as part of the B&FC Careers Programme.
4. Supporting students in creating effective career plans using college systems such as eTracker.
5. Collaborating with progress tutors to ensure students receive the guidance they need for success and progression.
6. Promoting careers services and employability opportunities across the college.
7. Assisting with careers events, open days, and employer engagement activities.
8. Maintaining accurate student records and contributing to service reporting.
