About the Role We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gardener to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of our hotel’s gardens and grounds. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a beautiful environment and contribute to the aesthetic appeal of one of Scotland’s premier hotels. Responsibilities: Carry our routine grounds and gardening maintenance tasks, including mowing, strimming, edging, pruning, weeding and mulching, Assist with the upkeep of lawns, borders, shrub beds, hedges, pathways, and woodland areas. Support seasonal maintenance programmes and planting schedules, Operate gardening tools and equipment, Assist with irrigation, watering, and basic estate maintenance activities, Maintan cleanliness and presentation of external areas, including litter removal, Idenitify and report maintenance issues, defects or concerns to the Head Gardener, Work Collaboratively with colleagues and rovide support during events or estate projects as required. Requirements: Previous experience in gardening, horticulture, or a related field. Strong knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and landscape maintenance. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor. Excellent attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high standards. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Experience using powered or ride-on equipment. A qualification in horticulture or a related discipline is preferred but not essential. Full UK Driving Licence.
