Job Description

Job Purpose

* To undertake, in an efficient and cost‑effective manner, activities defined within company procedures for Design and Design Control.
* To deliver high‑quality electrical design solutions for company products, ensuring compliance with customer, legislative, and internal requirements.
* To contribute effectively to product and project delivery, ensuring design objectives are achieved in line with programme, cost, and quality expectations.

This role sits within a product‑aligned engineering structure, where engineers may work across different business units (e.g. Vision, Enclosures, Sensors, Protection) depending on project demand and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Design & Engineering

1. Undertake electrical design of company products in accordance with customer specifications, relevant legislation, and internal design procedures.
2. Deliver designs to agreed standards of quality, cost, and schedule, supporting design‑to‑manufacture programmes with fixed delivery deadlines.
3. Maintain strong technical oversight across electrical design, development, verification, and manufacture, ensuring outputs meet required standards.
