Guest Service Agent/Receptionist, Crawley
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Guest Service Agent to act as the Hotel's front line in welcoming our guests. You will be the human face of the business, so a warm and genuine personality is essential. Experience in hotel reception is desirable but not required; a sunny disposition, impeccable communication skills, smart appearance, and a proactive passion for service are key attributes we seek.
Job Requirements:
* Experience in customer service and people management
* Knowledge of accounting practices and principles
* Ability to analyze client needs and offer appropriate solutions
* Conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Maestro software
Key Responsibilities:
* Create a welcoming environment for guests
* Check guests in and out
* Answer guest inquiries and arrange transportation
* Handle reservations and billing
* Manage cash, keys, gift certificates, and internet cards
* Maintain reports on arrivals, departures, and room status
* Ensure front desk supplies are stocked
* Manage wake-up calls and guest requests
* Maintain a tidy front desk area
* Refer inquiries to appropriate departments
* Represent the organization professionally to visitors and partners
* Report security issues
