Are you an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher looking for a new long-term role?
We are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the NP11 area to recruit a Year 5 Class Teacher for a September 2025 start.
This is a full-time position covering the entire academic year, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to make a real impact on pupils' learning and progress in a well-resourced and forward-thinking school.
The Role:
Full class teacher responsibilities – planning, teaching, marking, assessment & reporting
Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Working closely with SLT, teaching assistants and parents to support pupil development
✅ The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 5)
Be fully committed, reliable and passionate about education
Be confident with classroom and behaviour management
Be available for interview and lesson observation over the next couple of weeks
Location:
NP11 Area, South Wales (easily commutable from Newport, Caerphilly, Blackwood & surrounding areas)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
