Job Overview
Trial Balance Consulting have been exclusively assigned by our client, a well-established business with multiple sites across the South West and beyond. They seek to find a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. There’s also potential for the right candidate to work a four-day week.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Assistant will be responsible for:
* Managing petty cash, ensuring accurate recording and timely replenishment
* Completing bank reconciliations across multiple locations
* Maintaining up-to-date records for company vehicles, including MOT, insurance, and servicing schedules
* Assisting with general finance administration and month-end reporting
* Liaising with managers across locations to resolve discrepancies and provide financial information
* Ensuring all financial records are accurate, compliant, and well organised
Qualifications
We’re on the lookout for candidates who are ideally part or fully-qualified AAT, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You’ll definitely be confident with MS Excel, and chances are you’ve used SAGE before too.
