We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, suitably qualified and experienced person to become a Communication Support Worker at the Hearing Support Centre Alun High School Mold.
The ideal candidate will hold a qualification in British Sign Language (BSL) level 2 or above or currently working towards a level 2 qualification. The post holder will work as part of a team and be responsible for supporting the learning of deaf pupils whilst promoting self-esteem and independence.
Collaborative working is an essential part of this role, and the successful candidate will be expected to work with the teacher in charge in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons and work plans.
As this post will result in you having substantial contact with children, the successful applicant will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Services check. Welsh is desirable.
