Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Nuclear Medicine Radiographer to join our client's team in Bradford. This role involves providing high-quality nuclear medicine imaging services, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and ensuring patient safety and care. Responsibilities
1. Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including PET, SPECT, and gamma camera imaging.
2. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety protocols.
3. Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment.
4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret results and ensure comprehensive patient care.
5. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
6. Adhere to health and safety regulations.
7. Support and guide junior staff and students.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in Radiography or equivalent.
* HCPC registration.
* Postgraduate qualification in Nuclear Medicine or relevant experience.
* Experience in a similar role, preferably within the NHS.
* Knowledge of nuclear medicine techniques and radiopharmaceuticals.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development.
