We have an opportunity available for Bank Support Workers - Supported Living to join the team at The Academy based in Warrington WA1 2RU. As a Support Worker in Supported Living you’ll be supporting adults on a person-centered basis to live independently, helping them move towards independent accommodation.
Responsibilities
* Support adults on a person-centered basis to live independently and move towards independent accommodation.
* Provide medication assistance, help with accessing the community, and support with domestic tasks.
* Think on your feet to understand and respond to the clients’ needs, with a focus on building empathy and a positive environment.
* Work as part of a team to ensure tenants are living a full and happy life.
Qualifications and Attributes
* Values-driven with the ability to build relationships with service users and colleagues.
* Patience and a sense of humour are key qualities.
* No prior industry experience or specific qualifications required; on-the-job training provided, with opportunities to undertake professional qualifications if desired.
* Willingness to engage in safeguarding training and comply with employment checks (DBS and references).
