Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Office Manager to oversee daily office operations, ensure compliance with company policies, and support financial and administrative functions. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) based in our dynamic and supportive office environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of a busy office.
2. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies.
3. Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and supplier payments.
4. Process supplier invoices and match them with purchase orders.
5. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
6. Prepare and process payment runs, including BACS and cheque payments.
7. Manage customs declarations, including Goods Movement Declarations (TSS).
8. Plan and manage equipment and facility upgrades.
9. Respond to supplier queries and liaise with internal teams to resolve issues.
10. Assist with month-end and year-end reporting tasks as required.
11. Process and manage PAYE payroll.

What We’re Looking For

1. Previous experience in an office management, accounts payable, or similar role.
2. Proficiency in Sage 50 accounting software is essential.
3. Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting principles.
7. Experience with PAYE payroll processing.
