Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Technician c£47,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Overtime Runcorn MC Technical Recruitment are currently seeking an EC&I Technician to join the maintenance department of an Energy from Waste power station in the Runcorn area. This plant processes over 1,000,000 tonnes of waste annually, generating enough electricity to power over 200,000 homes. The EC&I Technician will be responsible for the planning and execution of Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation maintenance work across the site to ensure minimum downtime. As an EC&I Technician, you will be responsible for: Fault finding, repair work and planned and unplanned maintenance on all E, C&I assets. This includes motors, drives, switchgear, transformers as well as C&I plant such as pressure, level, temperature and flow sensors and the sites control systems (DCS and PLCs etc) Working alongside other Technicians and Engineers to ensure an accurate daily schedule is produced and worked to Work with the site engineering team on plant improvement projects and upgrades Assisting during site outages / shutdowns when required Maintaining accurate records using the site CMMS Managing and directing site contractors as required To be considered for this role you should have: An apprenticeship in relevant engineering discipline such as electrical or similar along with an HNC/ONC.
