Job Title: Water Treatment Account Manager
Location: Preston, Lancashire (regionally covers the North West)
Salary/Benefits: £35k - £55k + Benefits, Bonus + Commission
Due to company expansion, our client is seeking a Water Treatment Account Manager to oversee contracts in the North West of England. The role primarily involves managing key client contracts, ensuring deadlines are met and work standards remain high. The company is well established with a national presence and a growing portfolio. They will consider candidates with experience in process water (cooling towers, closed systems and steam boilers) and/or domestic water systems (ACOP L8 / Legionella). Responsibilities
* Managing key client accounts, including water hygiene, water treatment, legionella, cooling tower, closed system and steam boiler contracts
* Overseeing the smooth delivery of projects across multiple client sites
* Monitoring the performance of site staff, auditing works and completing competency checks
* Providing ongoing updates and technical support to clients
* Attending client sites to scope for projects and conduct risk assessments
* Upselling of further services to existing clients
* Ensuring engineers have all required materials and equipment to complete works
* Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
* Handling logistical and technical issues on site
* Attending regular meetings with management and directors to discuss project performance
Experience / Qualifications
* Proven track record working as an Account Manager within a Water Treatment / Water Hygiene outfit
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Able to manage teams of site staff
* Strong client-facing experience
* Robust technical knowledge, including: HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
* Proficient in the use of IT software
* Good literacy and numeracy skills
