Role: New Business Advisor – Commercial
Office Base: Wigan Investment Centre, Wigan WN3 5BA. Full-time office based.
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide clear, accurate advice on Commercial legal enquiries over the telephone.
* Handle inbound enquiries efficiently, quickly identifying client needs.
* Deliver exceptional customer service on every call.
* Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Work collaboratively with the Commercial Department to ensure enquiries are managed effectively.
* Promote the Stephensons brand and maximise cross‑selling opportunities.
* Maintain accurate internal records on case management systems.
* Assess funding options and implement where appropriate.
* Ensure compliance with Client Care and Law Society rules.

* Able to work under pressure and manage frequent interruptions.
* Adaptable and flexible with excellent listening skills.
Essential Requirements
* in office/admin work and handling high-volume telephone calls.
* Strong customer service background.
* Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills.
* Good IT and keyboard skills.
Desirable
* Law degree (ideally 2:1 or above) or relevant work experience.
* LPC qualification.
* Experience in providing basic legal advice.
* Knowledge of Commercial Law.
