As Management Accountant you will be assisting the Assistant Financial Controller by ensuring accurate general ledger balances, timely end of month processes, accurate relevant financial reporting and sufficient cash controls as maintained. As Management Accountant you will join a high performing team and have a key role in delivering a technical and analytical perspective in accounting processes and financial plans. Working closely with the Financial management team, you will support across all areas of the accounts function and in the management of month and period end reporting and production of financial data to facilitate sound financial decision making. A strong analytical perspective and focus on detail, you will ensure effective credit control processes, oversee ledger account performance and ensure cash management procedures across the hotel are in place and audited effectively. An excellent and confident communicator, you will hold a central role within in the finance team and support the department across all areas of finance management. You will have a high level of numeracy and IT skills, including MS Office suite. Proven administrative and exceptional organisational skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to prioritise tasks and deadlines effectively. Proven experience gained within an accounts function is essential for this role and previous experience with financial and hotel management systems, would be highly desirable. Experience within a hospitality business would be beneficial for this role however this is not essential.
