Overview
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Food Technician to join our Design & Technology team. You will play a vital role in supporting the teaching of Food Technology by preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring health and safety standards are met.
Salary: Bucks Pay Range 2 – £22,2274 to 24,139 Approximately
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week. Monday – Friday, term time only plus 2 weeks (1 week inset and 1 week deep clean e.g. 40 weeks per year)
Monday-Thursday 8:00 to 4:00 pm, Friday 8:30 to 4:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and maintain food areas, equipment, and materials for lessons
2. Assist teachers and students during practical sessions, ensuring safe working practices
3. Manage stock levels, order supplies, and shop for ingredients when required
4. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, including deep cleaning when necessary
5. Support health and safety compliance and complete relevant checks and records
