The Role
As an Attendance Improvement Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing daily attendance procedures and ensuring every student is accounted for, supported, and encouraged to attend school regularly.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating the first-day response process for student absences
* Monitoring and tracking daily attendance data
* Maintaining accurate records using systems such as Arbor and CPOMS
* Liaising with families, staff, and external agencies where appropriate
* Supporting attendance improvement strategies across the school
* Ensuring compliance with safeguarding and attendance procedures
Your work will directly contribute to improving student engagement, wellbeing, and educational outcomes.

* Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills
* The ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
* Confidence using IT systems and managing data accurately

* An understanding of safeguarding practices, or a willingness to learn
* A commitment to supporting all learners, including vulnerable and persistently absent students
