The Role
This role involves undertaking fee-earning work, contributing to the department's profitability, and meeting key performance targets. The successful candidate will handle all aspects of property litigation matters for both commercial and private clients while building and developing their own caseload. Responsibilities include:
1. Business development through networking and seminars
2. Maintaining high standards of client care
3. Collaborating with other departments
4. Developing specialist expertise, in line with the firm's Business Plan
Key Responsibilities
5. Assist the department in meeting fee-earning targets by providing advice and assistance to clients of the department and other departments of the firm
6. Conduct matters on behalf of clients across a wide range of property litigation issues
7. Manage support services, including supervising your own secretary (if applicable)
8. Participate in marketing and networking activities, whether firm-wide, departmental, or office-based
9. Maintain financial control, particularly around cash flow, by managing the collection of monies on account and billing procedures
10. Contribute to the Dispute Resolution team's activities
