Job Description Summary
An exciting opportunity for the position of Quality Improvement Clinical Specialist in the BDI Urology Division has arisen. The role will focus on the Southern Region with some regional travel as required.
The role is part of the Commercial Nursing Team, led by the Quality Improvement Lead. It works closely with customers and the BD commercial teams to create and implement quality improvement solutions specifically targeting catheter‑associated urinary tract infections (CAUTI) across both hospital and community environments.
Main Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Commercial teams to develop new accounts and deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
* Deliver hands‑on clinical training to healthcare professionals on the safe and effective use of BD urology products.
* Provide bedside coaching and real‑time support during product evaluations and implementations.
* Partner with customers to design and implement continence care pathways aligned to best practice and enhanced patient outcomes.
* Provide ongoing post‑implementation support to drive sustained adoption and clinical confidence of BD technologies.
* Support the collection of outcome data to demonstrate clinical and operational impact.
* Contribute to QI initiatives including audits where appropriate to support pathway optimisation.
* Act as a role model for high standards of clinical practice and quality.
* Engage with customers in co‑designing projects and care pathways.
* Deliver flexible shift‑based training including early, late and night shift staff support to ensure full clinical adoption and coverage.
* Provide advice and guidance on quality improvement methodologies and best practices.
Essential Qualifications
* Registered Nurse (NMC), Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.
* Experienced in clinical audit, QI, or governance.
* Strong communication and analytical skills.
* Ability to lead change and influence others.
* Passion for driving best practice through QI to benefit patients.
* Willing to travel within the region as required.
Desirable Qualifications
* Experience or interest in Urology, continence, nurse education or infection prevention.
* Strong team player.
* Existing NHS QI/clinical procurement relationships.
* Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, consistently delivering high‑quality outcomes.
* Previous commercial experience would be an advantage.
Location & Work Arrangement
The role is based in Crawley, GBR, with additional location possibilities in Winnersh – Eskdale Road. The position requires up to four days of in‑office presence per week; remote or field‑based arrangements will be indicated in the posting for specific locations.

Salary Range
£42,000.00 – £64,050.00 GBP Annual
