Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
* Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or snacks as required.
* Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas in accordance with food safety standards.
* Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system and manage basic maths calculations for change or order totals.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
* Restock supplies as needed and support other team members with general operational duties to ensure smooth daily running.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards.
* Ability to serve customers courteously while maintaining efficiency during busy periods.
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
* Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively.
* A positive attitude, team spirit, and willingness to learn new skills within the hospitality environment.
* Flexibility to work shifts including weekends or evenings if required; however, the role primarily involves daytime hours. This position offers an engaging work environment where your enthusiasm for hospitality can flourish while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
