Position:
This role is about working with people—building trust, encouraging participation, and supporting wellbeing. You'll lead group exercise sessions as part of a falls prevention programme, helping participants improve their strength, balance, and confidence.
We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in physical activity and its role in helping older adults live well. You don't need previous experience in exercise instruction or falls prevention—just strong interpersonal skills, a caring approach, and a willingness to learn. Full training and ongoing support are provided, along with opportunities to gain recognised qualifications.

Requirements:
Hours: 21 hours a week. Permanent contract. Working hours over Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Working pattern can be discussed at interview, and agreed upon offer.
Salary: £ £14.42

Other information:
Reporting to our Physical Activity Manager the postholder will play a key role in enabling us to achieve our bold falls prevention ambitions.
Duties will include;
1. Responsible for and delivery of falls prevention classes and education, and community exercise provision across South Oxfordshire.
2. Predominately through telephone calls, triaging referred clients to ensure they are signposted and enrolled to the most appropriate intervention.
3. Working closely with clients to maintain attendance, conducting baseline and completion assessments, alongside providing advice and signposting.
4. Collate and maintain accurate participant, attendance, and outcome records in accordance with organisation and funders requirements.
5. Ensure Health & Safety is maintained at all delivery venues and to act as an Emergency First Aider should the need arise.
6. Contribute to the continued development of a vibrant, engaging, and successful physical activity service.
