A young, independent woman with Multiple Sclerosis and living in Galashiels, isseekinga friendly and dedicated Personal Assistant to join her small, supportive team. As a result of the MS both manual and electric wheelchairs are used depending on which best suits the day’s activity. There is also a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) used to travel to various activities. Training will be provided on wheelchairs and WAV. A speech difficulty requires patience.
This is a unique opportunity to provide person-centred care, helpmaintainindependence, and support access to appointments, social activities, and the wider community.
Days of work are Wednesdays and Thursdays with precise hours being discussed and agreed on a weekly basis. Consideration would be given to working only one of these days with another PA covering the second day.

- A valid manual gearbox driving licence is essential
