This is an exciting time to join our Core Occupational Therapy Service within Coventry Adult Social Care as an Occupational Therapist.
This role will be hosted by Core Therapy and provide opportunities to rotate through different services in Adult Social Care, increasing knowledge and exposure to areas such as children’s and all-age disability services.
As part of this role, you will work with partners across the city and region to support users, their families, and carers, prioritizing the person at the center of all we do and promoting diverse and inclusive working environments.

Coventry Core Occupational Therapists provide advice, equipment, assistive technology, and adaptations to enable people to remain in their own homes and maintain independence in daily activities.
This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, and appointment is conditional upon a satisfactory DBS check.
Who are we looking for?
We serve adults from various backgrounds, and to deliver the best care, a workforce that is culturally competent and understands their unique experiences is vital.
We currently have under-representation of men and minority ethnic groups within our therapy team. We encourage applications from men and minority ethnic candidates, though applications from all qualified individuals are welcome.
If you hold an OT qualification and have experience working within Adult Social Care in a Therapy Service, this role suits your skill set.
Knowledge and experience in adaptations and prescribing health and social care equipment for both adults and children is essential.
