Gold & Aron Conseil is an executive search company, recruiting on behalf of our client.
We are looking for a Corporate Development Director for a leading investment banking and M&A advisory firm.
Important: Please only apply if you have prior experience in Corporate Development, M&A, Investment Banking, and are located in or willing to relocate to the London area.
Key information:
* Experience: 8-12 years in Corporate Development, M&A, Investment Banking, or similar fields.
* Strong financial acumen, including advanced analytical skills and expertise in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, Comps).
* Location: London
* Fluent in English
* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field (preferred)
* MBA is a plus
Key job activities include:
* Origination: Identify, evaluate, and initiate acquisition opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
* Deal Execution: Lead financial modeling, due diligence, valuation, transaction structuring, and post-deal integration.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and engage with senior executives, including C-suite, to align strategies and drive execution.
* Special Projects: Support ad-hoc analysis, presentations, and initiatives; help build scalable processes and best practices across strategic workstreams.
Note: This isn’t a banker role but a corporate development position within an investment bank, focusing on identifying and executing acquisition opportunities to expand the bank’s business lines, geographic reach, and capabilities.
