CNC Miller (Setter/Operator)
Aerospace Manufacturing | Burnley | Temp to Permanent Opportunity – 17.50 – 19 pay rate
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller (Setter/Operator) to join a well-established aerospace manufacturer based in Burnley, Lancashire.
This is an initial 4-week temporary contract with a strong likelihood of extension. For the right candidate, there is a clear pathway to a permanent position.
The Role
* CNC Milling within a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment
* Setting and operating CNC milling machines (programming not essential)
* Manufacturing high-precision components to tight aerospace tolerances
* Reading and working from detailed engineering drawings
* Ensuring all work meets strict quality and inspection standards
Machines You’ll Be Working On
* Mori
* ACE 400
* ACE 500
* DVM
* SV
* 2 × MYWX CNC Mills
Shifts
* Days: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30
* Early finish on Fridays
* Opportunity to move onto late shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (4 days per week)
* No weekend work
Requirements
* Proven experience as a CNC Miller (Setter/Operator)
* Aerospace experience preferred
* Confident working with a range of CNC milling machines
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
