Job Description Start Here Grow Here As part of the AECOM Advisory business unit, our Strategic Procurement team understand the critical importance of a thoroughly developed and market tested procurement strategy, which is a cornerstone for project success, and will ensure the appointment of the right supply chain partners into a commercial relationship based upon aligned objectives. What you’ll do: Lead and / or support in sector leading projects and programmes, as the strategic procurement subject matter expert. Provide procurement advice including understanding client drivers and project success factors, to then lead them through the process of designing the optimum delivery model, contract strategy, commercial model and route to market for their project. Manage the competitive procurement process including market engagement, supplier shortlisting, tender document development, tender management, evaluation, and negotiation. Provide advice on commercial aspects, category management and performance management. Support work winning activity including contributing to proposal documentation. Support the development of AECOM’s overall strategic procurement service offering Collaborate with AECOM colleagues to deliver quality outcomes for our clients, providing high value multi-discipline solutions.
