Our three 11-bed inpatient units provide a calm and caring environment for adults with a range of complex physical and mental health needs. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, youll deliver high-quality, person-centred care that supports dignity, safety, and comfort. We are looking for Band 5 Staff Nurses who bring clinical confidence, warmth, and professionalism to their role. Youll be responsible for assessing, planning and implementing care, administering medication, supervising support staff and students, and helping to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment. Youll also play a key part in upholding our core values: Compassion, Action, Respect and Everyone., The post holder will be part of a team to assess, plan, provide and evaluate nursing care, ensuring it is of the highest quality and patient centered. To work as an effective member of the multi-disciplinary team, supporting colleagues in their role. The post holder will be responsible for delivering high-quality cost-effective evidence based care for patients with highly complex needs. The service will aim to promote -Faster recovery from illness -Prevention of unnecessary acute hospital admissions -Prevention of premature admission to long term residential care -Support for a timely discharge from hospital -Maximise independent living Carlton Court Hospital is a healthcare facility located in Carlton Colville, Lowestoft, Suffolk (NR33 8AG). The wards provide a range of services, including rehabilitation and support for individuals with complex health needs.
* NMC registration and a relevant nursing qualification
* Recent experience in a healthcare setting
* Strong communication, organisational and team-working skills
* Confidence, calmness and compassion under pressure
* Willingness to work flexibly across a 24/7 rota, including nights, weekends and bank holidays
