Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-ups.
* Conduct patient assessments, medical check-ups, and health evaluations.
* Analyze patient medical histories and conduct thorough physical examinations.
* Prescribe and monitor treatment plans, including medications and lifestyle recommendations.
* Address a wide range of medical conditions across all age groups, offering professional and empathetic care.
* Foster a collaborative environment by working with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and support staff, to ensure patients receive the best care.
* Educate patients and families about disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and ongoing health management.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Stay updated on advancements in medical practices and integrate evidence-based medicine into daily practice.
* Contribute to and support public health initiatives in the local community.
Qualifications
* Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) and completion of a recognized General Practitioner or Family Medicine residency program.
* Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the [location].
* Board-certified or board-eligible as a General Practitioner or in Family Medicine.
* Proven clinical experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work empathetically with patients and collaboratively in a team environment.
* An understanding of and commitment to health equity, diversity, and inclusive healthcare practices.
* Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and other digital healthcare tools is a plus.
* Dedication to professional development and staying updated on advancements in medicine and healthcare policies.
Day-to-day
* See a diverse caseload of patients in a clinical setting, including walk-ins, scheduled appointments, and follow-ups.
* Conduct regular health check-ups, screenings, and immunization programs.
* Offer diagnostic services, order tests, review results, and communicate diagnoses and treatment plans with patients.
* Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers as needed.
* Document patient visits, medical histories, and treatment plans accurately and in a timely fashion.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical practices.
* Provide support to patients in managing chronic illnesses such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and asthma.
* Play an active role in community-related health programs and patient education initiatives.
