Our Transactions Tax specialists provide a variety of services, including tax due diligence reviews (buy-side and sell-side), advice related to private equity and similar structures, vendor assistance, and management tax planning.
As a result of consistent growth, increased client demand, and high-profile M&A Tax appointments, we are looking to add to our National Transactions Tax team at the Manager level. As part of RSM's national M&A Tax specialists, you will work closely with a regional Transactions Tax Partner and contribute to the development and success of our Transactions Tax offering. You will have significant responsibilities and the opportunity to manage a variety of interesting and challenging projects across different industries. Collaborating with our Corporate Finance Department and leveraging RSM's international network, you will be at the forefront of Transactions Tax advisory work. The base office for this role can be flexible.
You'll make an impact by:
* Managing a variety of M&A tax projects.
* Delivering tax structuring advice pre- and post-transaction to provide tax-efficient solutions for clients.
* Writing technical descriptions of client projects for reports.
* Supporting strategic targeting and business development activities, especially in private equity, working with the Transactions Tax Partner.
* Being a strong people manager and actively involved in training and developing team members through coaching, formal training, and career discussions.
* Researching and preparing proposals for new work and participating in presentations to prospective clients.

* Is CTA or ATII qualified, or holds an equivalent qualification, preferably with an accounting qualification such as ACA or ACCA.
* Has previous experience at Assistant Manager or Manager level.
* Possesses good knowledge of Transactions Tax, either as a specialist or as a Corporate Tax professional.
* Has proven client handling skills and relationship-building experience.
* Embraces an inclusive approach to people development and supervision, demonstrating strong coaching abilities.
* Has business development experience or interest (advantageous but not essential).
