Enhance Catering is recruiting an experienced Sous Chef for a permanent Sous Chef role at a prestigious secondary school in Banstead (SM7). This Sous Chef position offers structured shifts and great work-life balance in a professional kitchen environment.
Sous Chef Role
As Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef to prepare fresh, nutritious meals for students while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen organisation. The Sous Chef will also help supervise the kitchen team and manage stock.
Hours
40 hours per week
Shifts:
07:00 15:00
10:00 18:00
11:00 19:00
12:00 20:00
There will be a mixture of all the shifts above
Alternate weekends required
Can accommodate long days (10-hour shifts)
Previous Sous Chef level experience required (2 years minimum)
Previous Care Home experience preferable
5-7 years experience in a Kitchen
Background of 5* Hotels or Restaurants (no pubs or cafes)
Previous culinary experience
Based in Banstead (SM7) (own vehicle required)
