FACILITIES ASSISTANT (CASUAL) - REF 2605131R £13.30 per hour We offer a competitive benefits package Ideal for students looking for holiday work Flexible hours, paid experience and a friendly place to work Runshaw College is looking for friendly, reliable students, including family members of existing staff, who would like paid work during the holidays. This casual, bank role is ideal for someone who wants to earn money, build confidence and gain practical workplace experience while still keeping flexibility around study, holidays and other commitments. It would suit students who enjoy practical work, like being part of a team and are happy to help where needed. You will support our Estates and Facilities team in keeping the campus safe, tidy and welcoming for students, staff and visitors, with varied tasks across our Leyland site. The role may include helping with room set-ups, moving equipment, keeping outdoor and indoor areas tidy, supporting basic maintenance tasks and responding to day-to-day requests across college. No two days are quite the same, which is very handy if sitting still is not your favourite skill. You do not need lots of previous experience. We are looking for people who are dependable, willing to learn, happy to get stuck in and able to communicate well in a busy college environment. It is a useful first step into work for students who want experience they can talk about on future applications, CVs or interviews. Full training will be provided, including health and safety, First Aid and fire safety. This is a good opportunity to earn money during the holidays, build confidence, gain useful workplace experience and be part of a welcoming college community.
